As I was filming this video, the King of Swords jumped out of the deck at around timestamp – 1:19. Since he popped out, I figure he wanted some special attention so here it is:
🔮 When the King of Swords appears in your tarot reading, his message usually pertains to a situation where emotions are not welcome. You need to look at this situation with the eye of logic, straightforwardness and moral rightness. Push your emotions to the side and think with your head, not your heart. This strategy is the key to being successful in whatever your situation is at the moment. The King of Swords popped out of this deck just to tell you that. lol

I fell in love with that Hansen Roberts Tarot deck because of the bright happy colors and childlike artistry. It was with me through childhood, went with me to college and has since been my trusted companion through all stages of my tarot journey. I have always enjoyed reading for family, friends and the occasional stranger. I have finally started adding different decks to my collection that I have felt intuitively drawn to and am now at the point in my journey where I feel it is time to start reading for the public. Often when the King of Swords pops up in your spread, he’s there to deliver a message about remembering the value in flexibility. You can be logical, meticulous and run 💩 like a boss but still be flexible. Things are changing all the time and you have to be willing to change with them or you’re going to have a rough time with getting what you want in the end. It’s neccessary to have a plan A, B, C and sometimes D. However, you have to be able to go with the flow when even those plans don’t work out. You can’t get frustrated at everyone and everything around you when things don’t work out according to your meticulously thought out plan. You can’t possibly predict every possible outcome of a scenario, therefore you need to accept the fact that time is fluid and life is forever in a constant change of motion. You would do well today to be flexible in your approach to whatever you have planned and be ready to go with the flow when things don’t go the way you anticipated.
I bought the Sacred Rebels Oracle Deck because I feel in love with the card illustrations. However, when I got them home and held the deck in my hands, they felt too big. It was awkward shuffling them. The borders were making it difficult for me to connect with the cards as well. I knew that I had to modify the deck but was nervous about cutting them because I’d never done it before.
It actually turned out to be much easier than I thought. I’m so glad I ended up trimming the borders and inking the edges. I ended up really bonding with the deck by the end of the modification. Simply giving each card individual attention while trimming and inking, made me connect with each one in a way I had never connected before. Now I find myself looking to see which of my other decks would benefit from a little modifying as well. Check out the quick video above to see how I did it.

It’s bad enough that we have other people judging us. We also need to watch out for how we judge ourselves. Sometimes we are our own worse critics. We’re critical of our choices, of our mistakes and sometimes we’re even critical of our successes. We second guess ourselves or think we should have done ‘this instead’. The judgement card is a reminder to stop all of the negativity that we introduce into our lives through judgement. We need to trust ourselves and our decisions. Even the bad decisions serve a purpose to teach us. We should practice not being so hard on ourselves and enjoy the process of living and growing.
As far as being judged by others goes, don’t listen to what people say. The truth is, no one is the judge and jury of you and/or your decisions. There is no room in your life for the negativity that negative people bring. Just don’t worry about it. The only person’s opinion of you that matters is yours.

The star brings the message of renewed hope after a difficult time in your life. It is a reminder from the Tarot that wishes really do come true. It renews the hope that everything happened for a reason, with the reason usually being your need to grow and develop. You have been transformed into a newer better version of yourself.
You have made it out of the storm and are now ready give hope to other people who are going through a difficult time just like you were. It’s time to pay it forward. If you see someone struggling with something similar to what you were struggling with, take a moment out of your busy life and tell them how you were able to overcome your adversity. Give them hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and this darkness they’re in won’t last forever. Tell them to wish upon a star because wishes really do come true, if only you believe.
